This is a perfect example of idiocy (and a great capture): A male adult holding a sign that says Ohio Christians against baby mudering muslims for president .

Liberty4All has put together a detailed list of what she'd ask the candidates during Thursday's debate. The questions are addressed to both of them and become a little more pointed at the end.
If you could suggest the questions the candidates are asked, what would you suggest?

Is U.S. Army General Petraeus backing Obama?

"Naturally, since Petraeus centered his hour-plus talk on progress in Iraq, McCain could fairly claim to be closer to the general than Obama — who opposed the surge — on the subject. But, particularly given the Republican-friendly audience, it was remarkable as well what Petraeus did not say."

Another submission from Liberty4All, this time post-debate.

Dear Sen. Obama:

You have been through a wrenching 18-month campaign that has made history with each and every day. You are on the precipice of becoming the first African American president in American history. You still have some questions to answer at this critical juncture in American history.

Is it possible to debate politics without fistacuffs? Many a man still stick to "“Never discuss politics or religion.”. The Art of Manliness takes on the issue in How to Have a Civil Political Debate.

With all the election hoopla that's going on in our news, Saturday Nite Live's having a field day. And they will probably continue to do so, there seems to be plenty they could reference. But is the SNL skit covereage fair? Are they being too one-sided?

It appears they're going to start castrating sex offenders down south. How about we bring this to Ohio, too?

Court rules in favor of Second Amendment gun right

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Second Amendment gun rights. The good: Scalia said

the Constitution does not permit "the absolute prohibition of handguns held and used for self-defense in the home."

The bad: In dissent, Justice John Paul Stevens wrote that the constitution's second amendment does not "limit the tools available to elected officials wishing to regulate civilian uses of weapons".
